Bear Walk
This painting was an interesting challenge as I created this piece for a gallery exhibition that had a theme of “The Great Dismal Swamp” which is located jointly in North Carolina and Virginia. As participating artists we had “card blanche” for our works as long as the subject matter was within the confines of the Great Dismal Swamp. Since the swamp is known for an immense selection of birds and other animals, I chose to go with the second most feared predatory species there other than the crocodiles.
