In a spring forest in Big Sur, I discovered this waterfall with light filtering through the branches. I pulled together the piece with a limited palette. The effect I wanted to achieve was that of an explosion around the rock, slanting down from the left to the bottom right. Texture and movement were my emphasis in this piece.
