I came upon this beautiful scene while searching for a waterfall I heard in the distance. I set up on a big flat rock and took in the scene for a bit. So calming. I painted this using oil paint and terps and used a reductive method to render the image. The monochrome painting reflected the peacefulness so I chose to leave it and not add additional color.
