A new painting of Lake Michigan I experimented with on an aluminum substrate! The smooth surface allowed me to create different textures opposed to the usual linen I use. There are areas in the water and sky that have the silvery quality of the aluminum exposed, which added to these delicate, reflective lighting effects. It sold immediately when I shared it online, which is always a rewarding feeling.
