Sunbathe

This small oil painting of the great Merced River is one of my favorite works that I did in a series based off a backpacking trip through the backcountry of Yosemite. I felt this painting captured the power and tranquility of this majestic river in a simple way. It's been over a year since this adventure and I still have ideas flowing from these experiences.
