A call for action / acknowledging the truth about school shootings

This painting is meant to spur reflection on what each individual can do to solve the dilemma related to mass school shootings. The answers are not clear, but that should not justify inaction. What is required is for each individual to ponder and reflect upon their own responsibility and to act upon it. I hope this painting will inspire others to act and question their perspective to influence real change. Change that will prioritize accountability and change that will challenge the norm. America's norm, unfortunately, is that children and innocent teachers are losing their lives to educating and inspiring our future generations. Change requires that we change something. We must act. This is each individual's "response" "ability". We can do something and should stop allowing ourselves to become callous to these awful events.
