Self portrait of an evening rowing home in the fog on Oak Harbor in Washington State (Whidbey Island) The fog acted as a prism to creat tiny panes of rainbows from the dying light of the sun. I used a small square edged brush for most of this painting , and overlapping glazes of translucent pigments to create the rainbow effects in the fog.
