This is a studio piece that I did from a photo I took of an old barn in Door County Wisconsin. It was a cold snowy day and I liked the monochromatic feel of the scene. I am drawn to snow and the various colors you see ranging from pinks to blues. I would have liked to paint this plein air but in northern Wisconsin it was a bit too cold that day.
