Getting Ready is based off a picture I took when I was at the State Fair Rodeo in Albuquerque, NM. A bronc rider was synching up his chaps, with the wood corals behind him I couldn't help but take the picture. I remember right when I took the picture the cowboy joked that the time to take a real photo was when he got to ride. I won't lie I was itching the six-hour trip back home to start drawing that very picture on paper.
