Thoughts
In this self-portrait painting titled "Thoughts," I aimed to create a natural color space similar to that found in nature, with subtle variations in color. By layering the paint, I was able to create the illusion of depth in the work. I took a more detailed approach to the areas of the face where emotions are most evident, while using looser and more fluid brushstrokes in the surrounding areas. This approach allowed me to capture the contemplative and somewhat suspicious expression in the portrait, conveying a sense of deep thought and introspection.
