I painted this from the rooftop of the 5Pointz factory building in Long Island City, New York. I have always loved the gritty texture of old factory buildings, the graffiti that covered every inch of 5Ptz, and the panoramic views of the city from an elevated position, so as soon as I found this spot it was a no brainer.
