Kaleidoscope

I was aiming to convey some gentle contemporary femininity while paying homage to the timeless elegance of Gustav Klimt. I have always been inspired by the amazing paintings of Gustave Klimpt and especially his use of gold leaf. I also love to experiment and learn new techniques so every now and then I try a completely new way of painting which helps me feel fresh about my work and pushes me into different areas with new solutions. The background in this painting went through several different stages and I finally found it evolved to this kaleidoscope of color .
