Kodak Moment

Kodak Moment, Still Life
Kodak Moment
My work reflects my life. I find interesting objects and structures close to home. I am a keen observer of light, and how it changes the meaning of what I am painting. To me still life paintings are anything but still… they are personal narratives, full of life, that tell the story of a person, place, and time. Since I was a young child I have felt the need to capture life’s simple and fleeting moments. My watercolor ‘Kodak Moment’ started with the old Kodak camera, and my father’s Miranda camera. It is a reflection of my love of photography.
